Semi retired driving instructor by trade but drummer, guitarist, singer and general all round musician Grandad Ray is happiest when he has an instrument in his hand.

He is either playing the drums, writing songs or following us around with his guitar so has therefore managed to pass down his love for music to his 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

Nearing the age of 70 Grandad Ray is a bit of a technophobe but driven by his desire to write songs managed to work out how to use an 8 track and with a less than impressive set up in his garage started to piece together some of his creations a few years ago.

His dream has always been to release a song, coming very close in his younger years in a band called The Five Merlins. A record deal was on the table but never signed due to one band members parents not agreeing to let him sign.

A kind and generous person that has always put his family first. We would love to make his dreams come true for his 70th Birthday.
